Fr Robin's Golden Anniversary Celebration

Fr Robin Ellis celebrates fifty years of ministry this Sunday, first as an Anglican priest and latterly as a Catholic priest in the Ordinariate.  We give thanks to God for the great blessing of his ministry and pray for continued blessing in the years to come.  We also remember with thanksgiving the ministry that his wife Anne has given too, alongside her husband.  We are also blessed that Fr Robin's son, Fr Simon, is able to be present and concelebrate with us.

So on Sunday at Buckfast Abbey we will celebrate an ordinariate mass in the Blessed Sacrament Chapel at 3pm.  The setting of the mass is Missa De Angelis and our cantor will be Michael Vian Clarke. For those who would like to remind themselves of the setting see the video clip below. 

We will be joined by members of other ordinariate groups and probably eight or nine priests. Following the holy mysteries we shall repare to The Grange for a cream tea.
