The is so refreshing to hear! While it might appear to some initially as a bit 'old fashioned' or 'old school' it is actually a very clear and truthful presentation of the doctrine of Original Sin and how it connects with the Promise of a Redeemer.
The teacher here is Daphne McLeod, a teacher of forty years experience, teaching in Catholic primary and junior schools. If only all our children could be taught this! In fact, if only everyone could be taught this!
Original Sin is often said to be a negative doctrine by many modernist clergy and prelates. I have heard this myself, said too often. Yet it is not only necessary but also leads to a hopeful view of things. Without this 'bad news' the 'Good News' doesn't really make sense!
