Pro-family article now in Universal Declaration of Human Rights

Recently the UN signed up to this article in its Universal Declaration of Human Rights:
Art 16 (3) The family is the natural and fundamental group unit of society and is entitled to protection by society and the State.
This is a positive development.

Which countries did not vote for it?
Austria, Chile, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Montenegro, Korea, Romania, UK, U.S.
All of us around the world who care about the family owe a great debt of gratitude to so many pro-family delegates at this meeting who worked tirelessly and courageously to defend the family.

Numerous lies were spread by anti-family groups and liberal governments in attacking this simple resolution on the protection of the family. Opponents were making many outrageous claims like protecting the institution of the family will cause more marital rape or that it will cause individual family members to somehow lose their human rights if their families are protected. The anti-family side also claimed that if the resolution was not amended to refer to "various forms of the family,” somehow single-parent or extended families would come under attack or be ignored by governments.

You might consider adding your name to a petition for pro-family development policies in the UN.
