Today is a memorial of Our Lady that accompanies yesterday's solemnity. Our Lady's heart was pure and united with her Son's Sacred Heart. As Simeon had prophesied, Our Lady's heart would be pierced, and it was pierced when her Son was crucified. She shared in her Son's Passion in the way only the Holy Mother of God could share. Her heart is one with her Son's heart.
